About Teresa

Teresa is a 2003 graduate of Bastyr University, with a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Prior to her acupuncture training, Teresa received a Bachelor’s of Arts from Western Washington University in the field of Anthropology/Biology. In 2000, Teresa began extensive training at Bastyr University, where she completed over 3000 hours of class and clinical training. She traveled to Thailand in 2009, where she completed training to become a certified Thai Massage Therapist. She is currently certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the State of Washington (AC2436). After completing her training, Teresa opened and currently maintains a busy practice in both Kirkland (Family Practice) and Bellevue (Fertility Clinic). She treats men, women and children with a wide variety of illnesses and conditions including headaches, insomnia, infertility, anxiety/depression and acute/chronic pain. Teresa has worked side by side with other practitioners including Naturopathic Physicians, Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, Gastrointestinal Specialists, Dietitians, Counselors and Massage Therapists. She understands the importance of the integration of medicine, and works with each patient to ensure the most appropriate and beneficial course of treatment.
